Amy+Oliver

A gorgeous bride and groom + a night in Vancouver= some dramatic images!

Beautiful actress Amy and her handsome British groom Oliver decided to take advantage of our signature B+G Sessions and head out on the town a few nights after their wedding for some dramatically different portraits. They caused quite the stir in downtown Vancouver, literally stopping traffic!

But wait, I'm getting ahead of myself! Before the night shoot was their beautifully romantic wedding on Bowen Island.

The dress.
The shoes.

The view.
The bride.
And the groom.
Who were very much in love.A few nights later, it was downtown for our B+G session. We love to do these shoots either after or before the wedding as it gives us lots of time & freedom to get really creative!

And anything and everything is possible - this summer our pre and post wedding shoots have taken us from the streets of San Francisco to the skyscrapers of NYC to the top of Canada's tallest sand dunes.

Amy and Oliver wanted to do their B+G session in downtown Vancouver at night - the place they spent a great deal of time when engaged!

They got romantic in the middle of Robson Street.
And on its sidewalk.
Before doing some sexy shots on the bridge. We ended up at a bar on the waterfront where Oliver first met Amy - he fell in love after she served him a beer.I love the reflection on the bar in this shot.It was a fabulous night!
Congratulations Amy+Oliver!

Jocelyn+Will

Okay, I've said it before, but it's true! We get to hang out with the coolest clients! Jocelyn & Will were just so much fun to shoot!

Jocelyn's spunkiness (is that a word?!) and style infused energy into every aspect of her wedding. She was just so joyful about her wedding day & Will clearly revelled in her excitement & her beauty. We are so glad they flew in from Boston for their beautiful Vancouver wedding!

Jocelyn's dress was stunning.
As was she!

Their serene ceremony...
And their joy at being husband and wife!
I love the Hollywood romance of this shot of them in Gastown.
And the classic feel of this image of the married couple celebrating with their first dance on the patio of Sequoia Grill.
It was a fantastic night - and tons of fun sneaking out behind the restaurant to do a little light-painting.
Congratulations, Jocelyn+Will!

Anne+Henry

Could there be a more relaxed, down-to-earth, genuine couple?! Henry met Anne the beach volleyball court, and even though his skills weren't quite as good as hers, they quickly developed a great friendship. On their wedding day, two best friends became husband and wife. And what a beautiful Vancouver day it was!

Though it was pretty darn hot. Despite the +30 temperature, Anne looked radiant.
Henry looked pretty GQ himself.

Their colour scheme just popped!

A poignant moment during the ceremony.

And at the tea ceremony (one moment: two angles).

We had a blast exploring Granville Island.

Some lovin' on our favourite hill! Congratulations Anne & Henry!

Mary+Fred=Romantic Love...

What a wedding! What a couple! Mary must be one of the most excited brides and Fred, the most tender groom. He could not tear his eyes away from her! The love between them was palpable all day, from their stolen glances during the ceremony, to their first walk down the beach as man and wife, to their whisperings during their first dance. They were truly living in the moment...and it was beautiful to capture!

Two adorable bridesmaids greeted us at the church.

The ceremony at Saint George's Coptic Orthodox Church was regal and rich with tradition.Mary has the most stunning eyes!
After the ceremony, she kicked off her shoes and relaxed with a walk down the beach.

A tender moment during their first dance.
And their celebrations throughout the night!
Congratulations on an amazing day!

Christine+Doug=Smokin' Hot!

We had a blast shooting Christine and Doug's wedding! The two of them had such chemistry together - there were sparks between them!

Doug and his boys started off the afternoon in style at the City Cigar Emporium.

While Christine and the girls got ready in the luxury of the Wedgewood.

She was absolutely stunning...
She and her bridesmaids were pretty excited as they drove to the yacht in their limo.
And Doug was pretty excited to see her coming down the aisle.
We wish them all the best!

Natarie+Jack=Fairytale

Every wedding is fairytale isn’t it?! Well, Natarie and Jack's wedding truly had all the elements of a storybook romance...

The slippers.

The princess gown.

The enchanted forest.

The ballroom dance. And the grand staircase...

in a castle under the stars.Congratulations! And thanks for making that last stop for us in the glowing backlight amongst the trees - the images from that sequence are some of our favourites!
