Lola+Cam=Happiness | Vancouver Wedding Photographers

Vancouver Wedding Photographers

Isn't it funny how life works out? Lola and Cam's families had been connected for years - their grandmothers sat beside each other at church - but the couple themselves had never actually connected. It took a large family gathering neither Lola or Cam really wanted to attend for their paths to finally cross. And Lola almost didn't go! But she did. And they met. And it was the beginning of forever.

Their happiness with each other on their wedding day was almost surpassed by the happiness of their families - their small intimate wedding was simply overflowing with love. Here are some of our favs from their day at the Opus Hotel and Brix.

Love this spread of details in their album - check out their custom Adidas & shoelace ring shot :)

Lola was serene & beautiful.

Cam getting ready (little-known fact - Cam is officially the fastest tie-tier we've ever met!).

This sequence of Cam & his mom just makes me smile.

First Look.

Another one of my favourite spreads from their album.

Low-rider bike +super-fun wedding party= good times!

The grey & orange colour combo was unique & a little sassy! Love it!

Brix Restaurant & Wine Bar is in a 1912 heritage building & its centre patio has the romantic feel of European courtyard - the perfect spot to exchange vows.

A bit of a different perspective.

These two were so excited to be getting married!

Husband & wife!

Some of their beautifully simple & natural reception details included pebble stones for napkin rings, orange blossoms, and candles. I loved the display of photographs from the weddings of the couples' parents and grandparents. Photographs connect us.

First Dance.

It's always fun to shoot at night & I can't wait to see these two images full page & side by side in their album.

A little more night romance...

Congratulations, Lola + Cam - it was such a pleasure to be part of your day!

Tracey+Rob=Bliss! | Vancouver Wedding Photographers

Vancouver Wedding Photographers

Shangri-La means a place of peace, delight, and bliss - a paradise. It's also the location of Tracey & Rob's wedding and the perfect description of them as a couple! When they are together, they are completely connected, passionate, and as one - entire conversations seem to happen between them when they gaze at each other without a word being spoken. Being around them made us fall in love with falling in love all over again :)

Here are some glimpses into their beautiful day at St Andrews Wesley Church & Shangri-La Hotel.

Jimmy Choos + extra-sparkle + Vancouver mountainscape = one of my favourite spreads from their album!

Tracey gets ready.

Rob gets ready.

I just like the mood of this shot. Like something big is about to happen.

Like getting married to your favourite person in the whole world!

Love this church (St. Andrews Wesley). And always love this moment.

And this one too!

Nothing like true real emotion. My fav from the day.

Married!

Talk about bridesmaids with style & attitude - another of my fav pages from their album.

A little sexy.

A little silly.

And a little edgy.

Hot urban couple alert - right here! These guys made it easy for us & shooting around the new Shangri-La Hotel was like a creative booster shot! We love to photograph in new places :)

Tracey & Rob's reception had the vibe of a laid-back elegant cocktail party. Candlelight, creamy florals, and ghost chairs - check out their decor.

Mouthwatering menu & signature drinks - yum.

We always love to create some moody nighttime images. We sneaked out with T+R for a couple of quick & sexy portrait sessions in between the eating, drinking, and dancing.

Congrats, Tracey + Rob!

~~~~~
It's always an honour when a fellow photographer chooses us to be there on the most important day in their lives! And especially when that photographer is the super-fun, super-dynamic, super-hilarious Sarah. She is a hurricane of energy & we had such a blast with her on her wedding!
She's super-hot too :)
Getting a smooch from the flower girl.
The flowers.
If Sarah's the hurricane, then Kevin is the eye of the storm - centered, cool & calm. I love this portrait of him.
He carried his grandfather's pocket watch.
Their portrait session started out nice and traditional...
...but then Sarah pulled out her rainboots.
And things got fun!
I love these two spreads from their album:
A little more fun in the billiards room at Vancouver Club, one of our favourite reception locations.
The candlelit room looked so romantic.
These two know how to tear up the dance floor!
Last shot of the night. Congrats Sarah & Kevin!
